OfficeCavalry.com allows Project Owners to 'view and select' Freelancers and/or post a project to categorised individuals to maintain the highest quality of candidate selection and to avoid a 'Dutch Auction' on price that ultimately drives down the standard of work.
OfficeCavalry.com has implemented bespoke search engine functionality with advanced algorithms to assist Project Owners, through filtering processes, to select the best available candidates for assignments, ensuring that they remain in control of procedures, and by using the tools available to them can choose the best individual for their project without the distraction of having to view candidates based on bid submissions.
OfficeCavalry.com is a service based on integrity, quality and value and as such believes that if certain commercial and defined operational parameters are met or exceeded, then Freelancers will be paid in full for the delivery of defined projects.

If these simple rules are followed, the Freelancer will be guaranteed to be paid in full for the work completed.
A project can only commence after a number of security and validation checks have been undertaken to verify any card, PayPal or inter-bank transfer is legitimate and valid.
Small value projects that have been paid via a credit/debit card or via a PayPal Account will take no more than 36 hours from commercial 'handshake' for the project to commence and the same time for fees to be released after the Freelancer has completed the project to the Project Owner's satisfaction.
If users' banks are 'Fast Payment Service Enabled', sterling payments through inter-bank transfers using Transpact will be settled within hours. Non UK payments will be settled within one to three business days, but are subject to inter-bank cross-border agreements that may impact payment timelines.
OfficeCavalry.com will not hold users' monies any longer than required by batching payments to Freelancers at the end of each month. We believe that if a Freelancer has completed a project successfully, every effort should be made to have cleared funds paid within five working days of project completion.
Both the Project Owner and the Freelancer have the capability to rate the abilities of the other, enabling their respective communities to review their performance against specific criteria, maintaining the quality of the users.

Freelancers' combined Loyalty Points will convert to real money in the form of a Pro Membership term or an extension to an existing Pro Membership term.

Andy co-founded OfficeCavalry.com in February 2010 and has been fundamental in the concept, strategy, build, marketing and delivery of the new online marketplace to its targeted customer base.
Andy has in excess of 20 years experience in Telecoms, Mobile Technology, Internet Services and Consultancy and has had a number of senior roles across several global organisations. Andy's last major role before embarking on this new venture was at T-Mobile where he spent four years in several senior management roles, including UK Country Manager, responsible for the roll-out of its UK mobile portal and Head of UK Product Management, responsible for new portal developments.
Previously in his career, Andy has spent over ten years working at BT, gaining significant Telecoms experience within a range of sales, service, and business management roles including several general management posts with responsibility for sales, channel management and marketing with revenue responsibility, in excess of £100 million per annum. Andy has gained global knowledge and experience by working across Europe and in Australia and holds qualifications in Mechanical and Production Engineering, Business Studies in Industrial Management and has attended Henley Management College and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Sloan School of Management, USA.

Ian co-founded OfficeCavalry.com in February 2010 and is responsible for driving all Finance, Corporate Development, Human Resources, and Legal Affairs for the operation after spending much of his career working within businesses utilising permanent, full-time and part-time, agency and freelance personnel across a wide range of skills and specialist applications. Instigating and managing turnkey supply solutions for strategic national, regional-multiple and independent retail outlets has been a particular success during Ian's working life to date, taking responsibility for businesses with multi-million pound turnovers with very large permanent and temporary staff pools.
Ian's skills and experiences cover a wide range of general management that have been fundamental in negotiating and implementing several business mergers and take-overs, ensuring successful change management and logistical integration thereafter.
Qualifying as a mechanical design engineer, Ian moved on to engineering sales, and then into retail sales and marketing, rising to main board director level of highly rated privately owned companies operating in the wholesale, convenience and symbol group sectors of the food distribution marketplace.
